Mechanical Characteristics of Structures and Ground Deformation Caused by Shield Tunneling Under-Passing Highways in Complex Geological Conditions Based on the MJS Method

This study defined the height ratio of soft-rock strata and established a numerical model for analyzing shield construction in upper-soft, lower-hard composite together with field monitoring data. In this way, influence tunneling while passing under pile foundation culvert at short distance (the shortest is 1.4 m) typical Guangzhou can be examined. Moreover, reinforcement effects ground, bridges, culverts, using strata-reinforcing plan dominated by metro jet system (MJS) narrow space, are evaluated. Based on results, (i) maximum ground subsidence found position which soft rock 1.0. (ii) However, differential might subsequent when adjacent excavated surface ranges from 0 to 0.2 0.5 1. (iii) The concentrated release stress has greater impact structure than geological conditions face. (iv) Reinforcing MJS method contains stress. provide reference controlling deformation under-crossing strata.
